Morrow Programs:

Water Utility Assistance: (To schedule your appointment call 419-946-2009)
• Up to $150 on a shut off notice or a new service deposit for water bills
• If a disconnection or deposit is larger than $150, client must pay the copay of the remaining balance before assistance (proof of copay is needed)
• If a reconnection fee falls within the $150, we can pay that fee as well to turn the water back on.
• Must be at or below 125% Federal Poverty Guidelines for Water assistance
• Must be a Morrow County resident

Prescription Assistance: (To schedule your appointment call 419-946-2009)
• Must be at or below 125% Federal Poverty Guidelines
• Must be a Morrow County resident
• $150 per household member, per year (Can assist multiple times until cap is met)
• $300 per household member, per year for mental health medication (Can assist multiple times until cap is met)
• Can assist individuals with and without health insurance (copay’s for prescriptions, insurance doesn’t cover)
• Over-the-counter medications doctors prescribe (must have proof from doctor’s office)
• Cannot assist with narcotic prescriptions

The Personal Needs Pantry: (To schedule your appointment and a pickup time, call 419-946-2009)
• Provides products that help with everyday needs not included at food pantries
• Items include: hygienic products, household cleaning products, dental hygienic products, toiletries, diapers for infants & adults, Pull-ups

Medication Lockboxes: (To schedule a pickup call 419-946-2009)

• FREE medication lockboxes for any resident of Morrow County through the Drug & Alcohol Awareness & Prevention coalition.

Winter Crisis Program: Designed for a one-time payment for utility bills, bulk fuels, coal, wood or wood pellets. The customer must be income eligible and either have a disconnection notice, or be without heating services, or have less than a 10-day supply of bulk fuel.  Home Energy Assistance Program: Customers may receive a one-time credit or voucher to their main heating sources.

*All programs have modified for the health crisis and are completing applications over the phone.

211 is a simple, easy-to-remember number to call when you need help or access to human services. It’s a free, confidential 24-hour service, so you get the help you need when you need it.

Dialing 211 will immediately forward your call to your local 211 center, which will then direct you to the appropriate agency for:

  • Food and shelter providers
  • Child care resources
  • Special services for seniors
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • County and city information
